Refund policy

Returns, Exchanges & Our Take Back Program


We want you to love your Canapé pieces. If something isn’t quite right, our return and exchange process is simple and straightforward.

 

Standard Returns

  • Within 30 days of delivery: Eligible for a full refund to your original payment method. Items must be unwashed, unworn, in original condition, with all tags attached.

  • 31–60 days after delivery: Eligible for exchange or store credit only.

  • Returns received after 60 days cannot be accepted (unless they qualify for our Take Back Program—see below).

  • An order number is required to process your return or exchange. You can find it in your Canapé Order Confirmation email.

Shipping for Returns

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless they purchased Return/Exchange Coverage with Redo at checkout.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm approval or rejection. Approved refunds will be issued within 3 business days.

Gift Returns

  • If your item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return.

  • If the gift was purchased by someone else and shipped to them first, the refund will go directly to the original purchaser.

Final Sale Items

Items marked Final Sale cannot be returned for a refund. However, you may be eligible for our Take Back Program (details below) to receive store credit.

The Canapé Take Back Program

Because great pieces should never go to waste ✨

We’re committed to keeping clothes out of landfills and in the hands of those who need them most. Our Take Back Program lets you send back gently worn Canapé pieces for donation to local women’s shelters in DTLA—and in return, you’ll receive 50% of the original purchase value in store credit.

How it works:

  1. Email orders@shopcanape.com with your order number to start your request.

  2. Send a few quick photos so we can confirm:

    • Items are gently worn (no stains, rips, or heavy wear)

    • They are authentic Canapé pieces

  3. Once approved, we’ll send you a prepaid shipping label.

  4. We’ll donate your items to local women’s shelters in DTLA.

  5. You’ll receive store credit equal to 50% of what you originally paid for the item.
